Approach to Project Management Fundamentals

Introduction
Within the article, I use plain language to enhance clarity through simplicity. Discussion: What are the components of a project? This is my answer: PMI and A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), fundamental elements, project practices, project management plans, project financials, project risk management, customer relationships, and principled execution. My focus for this piece is on the core elements of project execution from my experience and understanding. They are progressively interdependent.                      

What Is a Project? How Do We Approach One?

  1. A project is a unique endeavor.
  2. It has a life cycle—a beginning, middle, and end.               

Why are projects challenging? They are comprised of plenty of information, technology, people, interests, changes, deadlines, and money! How can we manage them together?
