Standard for Organizational Project Management (OPM) Exposure Draft Review
PMI is providing an opportunity for interested experts to review and comment on the draft of the Standard for Organizational Project Management (OPM). This new standard, which will replace the current Implementing Organizational Project Management: A Practice Guide, has been developed by a global team of OPM, PMO and methodology experts, and we are now looking for broad, public comment to help us improve the quality of the document before its publication.
The Standard for OPM is intended for use by people within organizations who will be implementing, managing and maintaining the organization’s practice of OPM. This standard is not a replacement for OPM3® or any other maturity model; instead, it is designed to prepare the organization for use of a maturity model that can be used to assess and enhance organizational maturity with regard to OPM.
Review process
The exposure draft review will be open for 30 days starting September 25, 2017. The review may be found at https://ed.pmi.org.
Reviewers will need to login to the reviewing platform using their PMI account. PMI membership is not required in order to have a PMI account; if you are not a PMI member, you may create a new login account for the purpose of participating in this review.
