Anxiety, brought on by the fear of the unknown, has gripped our society, our loved ones and yes—if we are honest—ourselves. These are historic times we are living in during the COVID-19 pandemic, where the project of life is seemingly presenting itself with a new baseline every day—and where unsettling content from one-hour news cycles permeate our conscious and subconscious being.
So, let me ask: Are you aware that we are riding an anxiety tsunami to a destination unknown? What are the consequences of this journey, and do we have choices that can mitigate its personal effects on our families and ourselves?
This article explores these questions—not from the perspective of an expert (which I am not), but from one who is concerned for his own family.
